Refund & Cancellation Policy

How a cancellation is handled depends on the stage of the work:

• Before work begins: if you cancel before any work has started, any amount already paid is refundable, less any non-recoverable third-party costs already incurred on your behalf.
• After work has started: fees for work already completed, and time and resources already committed, are payable and are not refundable.
• Partially or substantially completed work: charges apply for the portion of the project delivered up to the cancellation date, as per the agreed scope.
• Third-party costs already incurred: amounts spent on hosting, domains, licenses, apps, plugins, advertising, or other external services are non-refundable to the extent the third party does not refund them.

Refund eligibility is assessed against:

• The signed contract or agreed proposal.
• The scope of work and what has been delivered.
• Work already completed and resources committed.
• Third-party expenses already paid.
• The payment terms agreed for that project.

We do not promise automatic or blanket refunds, and we do not claim that all payments are non-refundable. Each request is reviewed fairly against the agreement and the work done.

For recurring services such as website maintenance, SEO, marketing, or other retainers, you can cancel future renewals. Any notice period, if one applies, will be the one stated in your agreement. Fees for the current, already-active billing period and for work already performed are not refundable, and cancellation stops future billing rather than reversing past periods.

Payments made toward third-party services, licenses, hosting, domains, advertising platforms, apps, plugins, or other external services are subject to that third party's own refund policy. DigiOwl cannot refund amounts that a third party does not return.

Work requested outside the original scope may require additional charges and/or a revised agreement. New-scope work is quoted and agreed before it begins. See our Terms of Service for how scope and revisions are handled.
